Friends are the
Sunshine of life.
-John Hay
Hello, even though our weather hasn’t given up on boiling us to bits I have still been madly knitting away. I couldn't resist making another baby sleeping sack, though this time I have made it in soft colours. Click here for the pattern. I used an 8ply yarn with no. 8 knitting needles. The finished project is 19 inches long, just right for a new born baby.

For someone special
On the sewing front, I have made this rather gorgeous little purse carry to use for special occasions like morning and afternoon tea at a favourite cafe with Heather. Like we did today. A recent visit to the local craft shop saw me purchase a bundle of small 3 inch ready cut squares. I had to use them and decided a cute little bag would be handy. I love all the bright colours and for the inside I used a simple blue to match.

My cute bag!
As it is too hot do to anything outside I have made a start on another TV blanket for the library. It is something to do in the airconditioning. Don't anyone out there suggest house work!!!! lol. Too hot for that too.

Another masterpiece!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend wherever you all are. To make me feel better tell me what your weather is like...someone else out there must be having this hot, hot weather.
Anita.

Sometimes, in this cold weather, housework is the only thing that will warm me up when I'm cold, but I think I'd rather be cold, LOL. Sweet pouch and bag - it's definitely knitting weather here :D Current temp = -8C ... with windchill, it's -14C. BRRRRRR!

I think we are destined to stay hot for quite a while longer. No early change around.
The sleeping sacks do look great. Such a wonderful idea.
Love the bright bag.
Have fun with the new TV blanket - though it won't be needed for a while yet.

The sleeping sack is beautiful Anita. What are you making out of the pink scallops in the last pic - yummo? xx

Hot? February could hardly have been cooler! I don't think it went above 32°C all month! Another too short summer on the east coast!

Oops, forgot to say: I love your bright bag!
