Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them.....
your smile, your hope, and your courage.

Buongiorno and good morning beautiful friends, it is so nice that you could join me today. Some how, we seem to have been blessed with a week's worth of rain, along with thunder and lightning. This rain has been so good for our farmer's, but can keep the thunder and lightning!!!๐ŸŒฉ๐ŸŒฉ๐ŸŒฉ

I have spent the last couple of weeks having loads of fun crocheting and knitting little woolly hat and bootee sets. Playing in fairness, I made a set in both blue and pink. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ The pink set has been made in an 8ply yarn with has a little silver vein of yarn running through it. I am never sure how the texture will turn out when using the yarns with the silver thread in it as it can sometimes come out stiff, but not in this case.

I have used the same yarn for the blue set.
While I'm playing with textures, found in my sewing shed......1 stray ball of Ostrich yarn. What to do with a single ball of yarn?? We add a stray ball of 3 ply baby yarn and a ball of leftover 8 ply and you knit all the yarns together and make a very stunning cowl. I wish you could all touch this and feel how soft it is. Amazing!!!!๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ
Still going crazy with baby gorgeous, fabulous, marvelous,
Heather the feather very kindly.... unloaded ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‹ some of her off casts of yarn. I'm pretty stoked about that. So to start off, a woolly hat was quickly crocheted. The colour is so pretty and Heather always has lovely tones of yarn that she finds (probably because she is a hoarder!!!)
Speaking of off casts, here is a bold statement of colour and creation, lovingly made with the addition of soft tones of beads on the neck warmer. Some lucky person will want to purchase this at the markets, and the bright woolly hat with the big flower is a stunner as well.

Our summer has been very harsh, many weeks straight with temperatures of 40+, my garden has stood up well but with a few losses. I will have to replace a few bushes during the winter months. I thank my garden for standing up and defending itself against the sunshine.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
Some cute little woolly hats and messy bun hat made to stock up at the markets....more of my yarn stash used.
Oh look at that face!!!! You would think he was never paid any attention to ; petted ; feed ; locked away ; ill treated.........๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ is the face of a spoiled pet that always gets 100% attention, love and his way. Don't let the eyes fool you.
Until next time my friends, stay happy, safe and well. My love and thoughts go out to my friends in Italy and all over, who have the worry of the coronavirus at their doorsteps. I send you my prayers and love.๐ŸŒน
Ciao, Anita.

Benvenuto alla mia porta di ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’•casa ๐Ÿก☕
Welcome to my front door  ๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€

Why hello there beautiful people! I don't really know when February started but I can't believe it's almost half way done for the month๐Ÿ˜ฎ. The holidays went so fast, the first three weeks of work went fast...and so is this weekend! What the heck????๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Welcome to my bright entrance to my home. I've been busily making stock for the coming winter and it isn't until I decided to take a photo of 'some' of the things I've made, that I realise how much I have made. I'm pretty happy with the colours.

At our last market day, a lady commissioned me to make a poncho for her niece. I had made the adult sized one (shown above) and she wanted the same style to fit a young girl pictured below. I love how it turned out.
(Don't worry....I still have to stitch in the loose ends. You people know what I'm like with that).
Another fun project I'm into is this Boho styled cotton top. I have made this three times now. At the moment the last one is almost finished and it will be gifted to my son's girlfriend who has been admiring it.

I'm getting really excited here now.... There's nothing like mixing these three beautiful colours together, I get a warm tingly feeling when I see them and I decided to finish the woolly hat off with something other than a flower. What a pleasure it was to find a free crochet pattern for a butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹ Do you like it? Click here for the pattern.
I've decided not to put the antennae and body part on it but it still looks awesome.
In between projects I resort to quickly making some little girls ear warmers. It's a great idea for using the small lengths of yarn up.
Well my lovelies...that's all I've got right now (that is finished), so I'm off. I have a free night tonight, so I'm totally down to have a crochet night. I plan to finish the black boho top, crochet a flower and finish off a woolly hat that's been sitting there patiently, and I want to watch a documentary on Rome.

The kettle won't boil itself, so I better get cracking. Enjoy the weekend everyone!!
Ciao, Anita. x
