laughter and the love of friends.

Hey
good morning everyone! We’re all having a pretty groovy weekend around my
parts. There’s action buzzing around preparing for our annual show, a circus in
town, Northam and districts small farm and business expo, an international
ballooning event, Northam Ag Society sausage sizzle and craft stall, and a
major go karting event within the Shire. Phew!!!
All sorts of things were at the Balloon Festival. People from all over the world entered into this event and it was lovely to hear all those different accents.
Check out these guys!! There was just this guy, his herd of goats cruising around the oval. The sheep dog, though you can't see him, had those goats rounded up nice and tightly.
These
blokes are some of the nicest sorts you will ever meet. Hard working farmers, big
hearts, crazy sense of humour, will help you in a second type of guys. I love
hanging out with this crew......oh.....always tie your shoe laces up with
double knots. Lol.
The
ballooning event went well into the night time where 10 of the balloons were
inflated. What a sight!!

Another
one of those lovely people who you just love spending time with. We had some
great laughs last night Chris. Xx You’re a strong woman!! lol
Mr. Moon peaking through
Don’t you love the cute little face on that balloon?
I wonder what this bloke was thinking about?
Oh yes......Mr Bratty Brat eating my garden.
A thought
for the day....
Speaking
of ‘normal’..........just
have a look at this picture will you?! Now this is not what I would call
normal. Milo has
just dug another hole in our back yard. A convenient holding place for his
skate board. He seems pretty happy with it.....though I'm not! and basically, that's all that is left of our lawn. Oh well.
On
that cheery note I shall leave you all until next time I post. Hope your week
has been as super as mine has been.
Cheers,
Anita.

looks like it's a busy time, can't wait to see all your new makes
You sure have had loads on Anita - love that Balloon festival, your photos are great. We have one not far from us too every year in April. Its great to attend their Nightglow festival with all the balloons. So sorry but I did have to laugh at what Milo has done to your yard - & the way he has poked his skateboard in there as if to say " there you go, take that". Have a great week Anita :-)
WOW what a fun filled week and if we weren't tripping around I would have been at Avalon Retreat . Been able to catch up with you and maybe see those amazing balloons...
Nice sneek peaks !!
Oh No Milo... You naughty boy ! But I had to laugh at the skateboard....
Looks like a great week..at least Milo left a bit of the skateboard out so you could find it.

I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon but I'm also scared of being killed. Great shot of the moon too! Looks like you are having a great late winter/early spring season!
Your photos are amazing today Anita. I went up in a hot air balloon years ago and it was so fantastic.
Hugs,
Meredith
Time for me to catch up on all the mischief you have been up to in August. And it looks like there has been lots. Love the balloon festival. That would have been a wonderful sight to see. How lucky were you! Lots of projects on the go and it sounds there have been plenty of orders. That dog of yours will keep you on your toes for sure! Has it started warming up yet. I am really struggling with the cold after being away. have a great week.
