nothing worth the wear of winning,
but the
laughter and the love of friends.

Hey
good morning everyone! We’re all having a pretty groovy weekend around my
parts. There’s action buzzing around preparing for our annual show, a circus in
town, Northam and districts small farm and business expo, an international
ballooning event, Northam Ag Society sausage sizzle and craft stall, and a
major go karting event within the Shire. Phew!!!
All sorts of things were at the Balloon Festival. People from all over the world entered into this event and it was lovely to hear all those different accents.
Check out these guys!! There was just this guy, his herd of goats cruising around the oval. The sheep dog, though you can't see him, had those goats rounded up nice and tightly.
These
blokes are some of the nicest sorts you will ever meet. Hard working farmers, big
hearts, crazy sense of humour, will help you in a second type of guys. I love
hanging out with this crew......oh.....always tie your shoe laces up with
double knots. Lol.
The
ballooning event went well into the night time where 10 of the balloons were
inflated. What a sight!!

Another
one of those lovely people who you just love spending time with. We had some
great laughs last night Chris. Xx You’re a strong woman!! lol

Don’t you love the cute little face on that balloon?
I wonder what this bloke was thinking about?
Oh yes......Mr Bratty Brat eating my garden.
A thought
for the day....
Speaking
of ‘normal’..........just
have a look at this picture will you?! Now this is not what I would call
normal. Milo has
just dug another hole in our back yard. A convenient holding place for his
skate board. He seems pretty happy with it.....though I'm not! and basically, that's all that is left of our lawn. Oh well.
On
that cheery note I shall leave you all until next time I post. Hope your week
has been as super as mine has been.
Cheers,
Anita.
