Some culprits I know.

Happiness is something to
love, something to do and
something to hope for.
-William Blake.

I work with some ratbags! Monday was our first day back at work and so I set up all the book stands, filled them with books, unpacked all my toys and one toy is missing. Mr. Octopus has been kidnapped!! No-one is coming forward to own up but a letter has been dropped off....

The buttons are actually off Mr. Octopus. Someone is in real trouble. I have warned them all that I can sew calico dolls and have pins at home, just don't let me get a lock of their hair!! lol. There is some skulduggery going on around here. In the meantime I have had a swap with Sue and this is what she sent me....

A cute bunting with my nickname on it 'Dragon'. It is a fun nickname I earned while working at the town library. It was fun doing the swap with Sue and I love the colours she used to make the bunting. Thanks Sue. I made Sue a knitted elephant and sent it off with a couple of extra goodies. I love the card Sue sent me. Though, my photography skills have let me down again!

Of course, I can't go a day without some knitting. This is a favourite baby cardigan that I have knitted over and over again. I have taken a photo of the back of the cardigan to show you the pattern on the yoke. I have knitted the cardigan in four ply and just need to find some cute pink buttons.
I am surprised that I feel so happy today, a visit to the dentist can always shake you up. I had to have a tooth extracted as it was just a food catcher and was being a nuisance, so out it came. My lovely dentist asked me how long it had been since I had a tooth pulled. My response to him was 1885!! He struggled getting it out as it had roots that spread out everywhere! It was a monster but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. So I'm all happy. Hey, hope you all get a heap of sewing and knitting done over the weekend and stay happy. Kind regards, Anita.

Oh poor you and your tooth.
I'm drinking my morning Earl Grey out of a delicious stripey mug, just so you know!
Great fun is being had here with purple elephants too.

Glad you're feeling so happy after all the harrowing things that have happened to you!!! Your dentist trip sounds terrible... but kidnapping your octopus is just NOT on!!! Hope there isn't a ransom and you find the culprits soon. Lovely baby cardy too!!! xx

Hello Anita,

Maybe Mr Octopus is in training for the Avon Descent. You might see him on a float in the parade on Friday.
Happy Monday.
