Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you
in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are.
The ones who would do
anything to see you smile and who love you
no matter what.
It’s
so much sweeter waking up on a Sunday morning knowing that you don’t have to
work on Monday!! Lol I’m savouring the last week of my holidays and will fit in
as much as I possibly can.
I
invite you to see what’s been happening around here. Grab yourself a cuppa, a
hot piece of toast (and your glasses!) and come for a cruise with me.
Totally
absorbed in the sun burst colours, another finish and the second crocheted
cushion completed. I’m over the moon with this and I know I always bang on
about it but....we can all have a go at trying different crafts and not be
scared to try.
Friends
Spending
time with a family of beautiful gals. Morning tea at a cafe that overlooks our river.
I had a lovely morning with you girls, thank you.
Lovely
ladies
Jodie,
Brianna and Anita.

Rylee
Rylee is the fabulous
photographer who took all the photo’s at morning tea.
What a wizz she is with the camera. Look at
the next two shots....awesome Rylee.
A
new knitting creation in the way of kids wrist bands. I made a pair for myself
and they really do keep your wrists warm.
Brightness
I
came across this great 12 ply yarn in Spotlight. Bright beanies for the market table.
Welcome
to crazyland!!
Milo
goes really weird at dusk. It’s one thing to be on the outside table munching
away on his toy......
.........but get a load of this angle!!
It
is common to see Milo asleep outside on this angle. I’ve never seen anything
like it, have you?
Emma and Cory decided to have a pizza day yesterday, they made one pizza each. We all had a taste of each pizza and the kids did a great job.
Cherry
tomatoes, shredded chicken, olives, mozzarella cheese, baby spinach and peri
peri sauce.
Shredded
chicken, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, peri peri sauce.
Well
my friends, I’m off to create another beautiful day that will turn into
wonderful memories. Looks like we are in for rain today, but being surrounded
by friends, my family, love and happiness....the rain will not matter.
I
hope you also find joy today.
Ciao,
Anita.

Great post Anita ... love all your new creations. LoVe pizza & those two sure do look yummy. I did laugh at dear Milo ... perhaps he gets "sunset syndrome" ??
Love the Bob Marley cushion........great family shots and Milo is a real nut bag....LOL
Silly Milo!!!!! What a goofball!!!!!!! Looks like things are going great in your part of the world! Love that colourful yarn for the beanies!
Milo seems double jointed at the hips, lol - what a funny boy! Please save me a piece from each of those pizzas - yum! I have leftover bruschetta pizza in the fridge from last night's supper (we ordered take-out) - I'll just eat that until your pizza arrives, LOL. Nice going with the yarn projects (that crochet cushion is PERFECT for spring/summer) and nice photography, Rylee!
Ooh! The 12-ply looks fabulous and those wristwarmers have some style!!! Wishing you the beast for another hapoy week!
Anita, you look like you are so much fun to be around. I wish I lived closer to you so we could have tea.
Hugs,
Meredith

That Milo is a real character! lol He seems to be enjoying life like he should be.
Love the pictures -that was certainly a beautiful place with beautiful partners.
Can't wait to see what you get into next. Hugs
Great finish on the cushion. Love the colours. The wrist bands seem like a fun and useful idea. Let's see if they take off for Winter. The hats definitely will.
How lovely to spend time with lovely people for coffee and enjoy their company.
Your dog is crazy. We were always amazed at how our pets could contort themselves in all directions.
Looks like your have some good pizza chefs at home. Delicious!
Enjoy your last holiday week and sew up a storm!
Anita, thanks for your comments on my blog, and congratulations for your creations. Hugs, Verbena
