Open your eyes and see those things
Which are around us at this hour.

Oh wow! I thought I wasn’t gonna make it to blogland today!! We’ve spent the day pulling down the chook house and dipping in and out the house for cool breaks and drinks. It was very hot here today and at 5.30pm, it has cooled down to 37C!!!

I also managed to sew a colourful ruffle bag today too. How did I manage that then?

Such happy colours!!!

These are some of the lovely fabrics Heather the feather gave me for my birthday. She spoils me. I’m thinking it will be turned into a bag for me.                                                                         Image result for clipart wisteria
A little birdie told me that one of my friends has been keeping in shape by bouncing on a trampoline! I believe she has been very successful too!! Good on you “A”!!!! Well done. Anyone out there have an interesting way they keep fit? I’d love to hear from you. I have to force myself to the gym or I don’t do anything.

Well, this was a quick old post today but I need to try and catch up with other stuff now, so I'd better fly. Hugs to Laura from Italy. I'll catch you gals another time.
Ciao, Anita.

Lovely bag, Anita, they are happy colours aren't they. The temperature cooled down to 37 degrees, my goodness it's hot over there. I can't believe you were pulling down a chook shed in that heat...you must be keen.

Love the bag and the fabrics! While you all are sweltering down there, we had our first major snowstorm yesterday. It's about 28F here. Not sure what that is in Celsius, but I imagine just below -0-. I know that our 32F is -0-C. That's the extent of my metric system knowledge.

Hey there Anita, Thabls for stopping by my blog. Glad you liked the Sound of Mucous. It made me laugh out loud because I have been sounding like that lately. Such pretty fabrics you have! I think I would still go crazy in a fabric shop of ai ever got the time to sew. Probably a good thing I don't. Let's see . . . how do I work out? Hmmm, I am not slender, but ai have been working to drop some weight and It's been working. I walk. I just try to do it when and how I can. I take the time at work each day to walk a long hallway down and back in the lowest level of the college. Then I walk up one flight of stairs and walk around the entire first floor, then the same when I get up to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor. There are two towers connected with halls and I get to walk around the floor in the first tower and then cross to the second tower and walk around that before heading up a floor. At home I do push-ups, but I do them in the stairwell. I've had surgeries on both wrists and it's tough to do them horizontally But the angle of the staircase still gives my arm muscles a workout without hurting my wrists. Then, when I do dishes, I wipe one spoon, walk to the drawer, put it away, mwalk back to get the next spoon, wipe it walk to the drawer. I do the same with each plate, bowl and cup. It's not much, but it adds up when it becomes a routine to keep moving. Sorry so long. Love your happy blog. It cheers me.

Your bag looks great with these gorgeous fabrics.
Smart move to take the shed down as it is a good place for those long things to hide, too. And hot work with those temps.
I hope you enjoyed Australia Day.
When do you have to start back?
