Teaching for Merikare, par. 24
This week was full of furious knitting to get things
finished and to get new projects on the go. Since I decided to hold a stall at
our local markets, orders have started to fly in. I have made a head start with
my headbands for this coming winter and they are topped off with cute little
crocheted flowers.......
Easy as pattern. Click here.
My collection of baby beanies is starting to grow. It’s
a simple pattern using double rib for the band and stocking stitch for the main
section of the beanie.
What!
Who did this??.......
Milo !!!!
On a happier note, I was given this lovely piece of
fabric and I can see it being used on one of my library displays at work.
I’m off to get a ruffle bag made in my sewing shed.
Before I take off into the abyss I just want to send well wishes to all Aussie
folk experiencing the rotten cyclones we’ve got happening on both sides of the
country. We’ve only had the winds and rain. In the north end of Western
Australia, we’ve had pretty nasty destruction due to the cyclone. I hope our
eastern states folk are holding on tight.
Love to John and Jane.
Cheers, Anita.

Cute beanies and I hope you show us the sweater when it's finished.
There's been a picture of the cutest crocheted baby cloche hats going around on FB. Have you seen it? I love them! I bet you could make them!
Oh wow, you have been busy! Love the edge of that cardigan
I like your blog. I stumbled on it from 1 xmas item a month. I'm a knitting grandmother raising my granddaughter in Minnesota, USA.
I love your energy Anita!
Hugs to you,
Meredith

Great crafted items this week Anita - love those crochet flowers. You will have to let us see what you decide to use that lovely bright fabric for in the library.
You have been busy with all your knitting. I am so pleased your work is being appreciated with your sales and orders.
Looks like your Milo is keeping you on your toes well and truly!
We have been spared the main weather problems here - just seem to be having earthquakes instead!
