Friendship is made up of little things – a pat on the back, an
unexpected phone call, a small gift, an unexpected phone call,
a note of thanks, a batch of chocolate chip cookies.....
Hey......good morning!! Lol
I have been almost like...under ground the last couple of weeks. I’ve started
my holidays and true to my word, I have tucked into making a start on my show
entries. I have also been making other things as well, like these head bands
that have been sent to market.
The
girls around town have gone wild on head
bands and as quick as I have knitted them, they have been sold.
The mixed weather we have been having as given
me some much loved time in the sewing shed.
What do you think of my hoot owl?
His
eyes are yo yo’s with beads sewn around the rim, bits of left over cotton
fabrics and embroidered stitches around the sections of belly and wings.
I also
have started on a cute little cloth doll.
The pattern comes from an old edition of Handmade and is giving me many hours
of pleasure.
I have
just finished this little embroidered gift that I have made using bright happy colours. This will be going to the tourist
centre for sale.
Things
that make me happy.....
Smiles
laughter feeling loved a warm fire
place knitting
Hot cup of tea Italy friendship
What
makes you happy? Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for dropping by.
Cheers,
Anita.
