Hey wait up guys!!! Oh wow....I’m still picking the sleep out of my eyes this morning....I’ve just woken up. I’m wielding a hot cup of tea in one hand and toast in the other. Since it is Sunday I thought I might treat myself to a little sleep in, I’m feeling pretty groovy too.

Do you want to grab yourself a cuppa and come and have a look at what I’ve been up to this week? Feel free to join me....

My bright cushion creation.

Paul’s garden

What am I up to here? I’ve found some yummy bits of fabric that have turned into......

A ruffle bag.

It is amazing how much this little bag actually weighs. Once all the ruffles are sewn on, you can feel the difference in weight....in a good way.

I’ve had heaps of fun crocheting this sunburst coloured cushion and it will be going to its owner on Tuesday. It is 43cm across and I’m so glad I had a go at a round cushion instead of square. Nothing wrong with square cushions, it’s just that it was all new to me.

It’s funny coming out of one season and getting excited about the next. We’ve had a little turn in the weather and straight away all the heart warming baked foods come out in the kitchen.

Baked sweet potato, pumpkin, Potato bake, butter and garlic baked mushrooms.

The world is good!!

Ah yes, here it is!!!! One of my most favourite things....knitting.

A Pink child’s beanie

A knitted girls headband with a big crocheted flower on top.

A knitted beanie using chunky yarn in medium/large size. I must admit, I'm not a big fan of using thick yarn, but people like it so I'm making it. lol I do like the look of the end product though.

For Australians tomorrow it will be ANZAC Day, where the whole country will remember all those people who fought and died in the wars. I always hope we don’t go down that path again as we know that wars don’t ever solve anything in a good way.

Well friends, my tea is drank, toast eaten, time to boil up the kettle again and perhaps even getting changed out of my pyjama’s might be a good idea. Lol.
Ciao, Anita.

Great post Anita - we have had a change in our weather too & the heart warming foods are coming out of the oven. Yours look delicious. I really love your ruffle bags, they look like little girls ra ra skirts when you are sewing them. Have a super week Anita.

Great way to start the day, Anita.
Both cushions are looking wonderful - bright and colourful. Love them.
Great to see the knitting has not been forgotten, too.
The ruffle bag is so sweet.
I must admit we are enjoying some of the Winter cooing, too. We have missed it for a long time.
Have a great week.
