Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.

Hello beautiful friends! I need you to kick me if I ever say I thought blogging at the end of the day might be a good idea.😂😂. I had a big sleep in this morning and then everything just went to pieces. To top it off I had a great idea to ask the bloke down the road what he was doing with his cream coloured pavers? They'd been there for at least a year. He sold me some of them, so that meant collecting them, clearing the yard, laying them....and then a big sleep after.

So I thought I would do my blog right before preparing dinner. So please...one of you kick me.
🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞

So my fun week consisted of....making some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle hats....again! These are just way too popular at the markets. These are an order for some 20 year old lads who. since they were young, have loved the turtles. They were all going to get tattoo's of them so one of the mum's thought that maybe they would love the hats instead.😉😉

I came across these sweet little girl's bags and straightaway I noticed what a good idea it would be to use up some of those little bits of yarn that I have stored away in that shed of mine. These are off to the markets.
2019 has not started off on a particularly good note for me on many levels but always the splash of colour warms the heart. We all go through hard times and I will walk passed mine too.💞💞💞💞

Your life is a canvas...make sure you paint yourself a whole lot of colourful days.

Bringing colour into my world is making bright cushions to liven up my back verandah. I enjoyed making the cushions that will be soft on our backs and our bottoms. 😄
Our sitting area at the end of each day. It is a place for talking (my husband does this more than me), drinking coffee, sharing time with Milo and whoever joins us, a place to reflect and be grateful. 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
Clothing for dolls always turns back the hands of time and makes me feel like a little girl again. This is an order for a sweet lady who has recently lost her Mother to a long battle of illness. Every stitch was done with love and thoughts for this lady. I hope she will be pleased.
Our town is being invaded by these destructive but beautiful creatures. Every season we are visited by flocks of wild corella's. They dig all the seed out from the ovals, chew off the branches in the trees but I cannot help but be fascinated by them. I love wildlife.
Now my friends.....I go to prepare our dinner. Remember my words....please kick me if I decide to blog again at the end of the day. I leave you with hugs and good wishes. May your week be full of lovely things and much craftwork.

Ciao, Anita.

Hi Anita. Your hats look great and I love how pretty the little bags are.
That bowl full of yarn looks so colourful. And the doll dress is gorgeous.
Sounds like you had a very busy work day with all those pavers to move around.
These birds are running riot here, too. The flocks are the largest I have seen for many years and as a result are very destructive.
Has it started to cool down for you yet. We are in for a very cold weekend.

Such a light hearted post and your title is so true! Love all of the colorful crochet bags and hats! Your little sitting place looks so peaceful. I have never seen the kinds of birds you have........it is a shame they can be so destructive.
