Beauty is not in the face;
beauty is a light in the heart.
Kahlil Gibran. 💌

Good morning beautiful people 💜 I hope all is well with you in the world; the breath in your body and warmth in your soul.😚 This week has gone by so quickly but I have had much success in completing my projects that I've worked so hard to finish.
I recently made a library bag from Pokemon material and with the leftover fabric I decided to make some little cuddly toys. Three have been completed and three are still in the making.
Forgive the sad faces but these are reflecting my mood. Do not worry, I will shake out of it...even if I have to make some curses on a couple of people.
On a brighter note and brighter colours, mad as I may appear....I have made three beautiful girl's ponchos and at the minute I am making another one in green tones. These were very popular at last years markets, so getting a stock pile of them now will be helpful for me. Yes.....even though we are going through our summer here in Australia, Anita is still crocheting and knitting.🤣🤣
While we're into the cheery colours...how do you like these little cuties? I found this free pattern and though I would give it a try. The flower is actually crocheted onto a hexagon shape in the pattern but I found another site that had crocheted them onto a square shape. If you would like to try the hexagon Lily pad click here.
This was a quick little project....lovely baby booties.
Friends are amazing people....just when you're having a rotten day (in my case....a rotten week), out of the blue friends do a random act of kindness. On Saturday a message came through on my phone "Will you be home in half an hour for a cup of coffee?"
Ok, kettle is on, my friends turn up and gifted to me is an over locker. My over locker had recently decided to not stitch and is simply not working. My girlfriend has just purchased a new over locker and thought I would love her old one.

I am over the moon.🌜🐮🏂🐄
Many thanks Chris, your kindness came at a time I needed cheering up.🍒

While we're talking about cheering up, buying plants is always a good way to cheer up. I haven't seen this coloured pelagonia before....so I bought 2!
On the slow climb up to happiness, my luck was pretty good when I went to the shops and found 2 square containers that just happened to fit into the space I needed on my plant stand that Heather the feather bought for my birthday. Another success.
Oh yes...and joy of my heart.....Milo. He was found out this morning chewing up my pegs...again.

Only good when he wants to be.

Well my loves I must go now. Thank you for dropping by, I feel heaps better having shared my craft work with you and my thoughts. A good Sunday to you.🍷🍋🌻☕

Ciao, Anita.

As always you have worked wonders in the creating department, lovely Anita. Those sweet little pokemon fellows are cute and I LOVE those brightly colourful and happy ponchos. How fabulous your market stall would look with a lot of these pretties hanging. Those pots fit perfectly on your lovely stand. How sweet is your new overlocker...so pretty in pink. What a lovely lady your friend Chris is to think of you and gift you her old one. Friends make the world a much brighter place, don't they. May you have a beautiful week, lovely lady....last week is but a memory♥

Great work with the toys and the ponchos. All are looking great. Love the little projects, too.
Now the plants and the containers are a good bonus. Well done.
What a kind friend to give you the overlocker. That will get good use.
I hope the new week is better and brighter for you.

O Anita, you are soooo inspirational! I wish you would write a book. I would dearly love one. I love all of your projects. I am needing to make some girls ponchos also. My best buddie passed two years past and her daughter gave me her yarn stash so I have been using it to make her 3 girls and one boy gifts from their "Grandmother" and me. They always seem to love it. I have been doing booties but would love to come up with the ponchos .
I totally adore your flower and the beautiful stand you put Miss Feather in. I totally adore those -err, plants and stand. That stand is so darn cute- it is definitely my "cup of tea".
Sorry you were having a negative moment-but - you are Human! I know it will not take a second for your flame to rekindle for the world to enjoy. I always do and love you dearly . Your folks are so blessed to have you! Hugs
