Well hello there!

Hello, another week has peeled away and a glorious weekend for crafting is here. I am making several secret projects at the moment and can’t show the whole garment but I would love to share with you my progress. A trip to Spotlight helped me find some rather gorgeous yarn 50% nylon and 50% acrylic. Very soft I might add.

I'm very happy with the way the pattern is going. Very dainty.

I went to the library this morning and found a stack of craft magazines and this very interesting little book. I'm not really into the paper craft as yet but there are some cute designs and ideas for gift wrapping or displays.

This might creep you out a bit but hubby and I have been watching this little character for weeks now. He sits in his web and just.....waits!!! We watched him actually mend his web and in awe we watched as he went in rounds doing so. How to keep two people amazed for quite some time.

Have a look at his body, it looks like two eyes looking at you. Almost like a skull!!!! Eekkkk! Well that's it I've scared us all to bits now. I'm out of here now. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy stitching everyone.
Cheers, Anita.

It does indeed look like a skull.

Late last year I knitted a baby blanket in that yarn, only mine was solid blue!

They are fascinating creatures, for all their scare value.

Love the colour of the yarn you are using and the pattern is very pretty and delicate!
Watch out for that paper crafting - very dangerous!!
I am totally amazed at how well made a web is. I can understand you watching it!

Is that one of those spiders that lurks in Aussie toilets waiting to you bite your bum and kill you stone dead? Looking at that weird bug makes me glad I live in Scotland...only have to worry about wild haggis here!
Pretty knitting.......

lovely crochet throw. They always look homey and snuggle. Don't mind the spider as long it keeps to it's home and I can keep to mine. Very interesting markings. Josie made me laugh- is it the spider that lies in wait to bite you on the bum lol.

The knitting is beautiful but I'm not looking @ the critter picture -- I'm sure his momma loves him but I'm not ready to get acquainted with him, lol!
